FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
1ST SHIFT
We are seeking a dedicated Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. The Facilities Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the proper maintenance and functionality of our facilities. This role involves performing a variety of tasks related to the upkeep of buildings, grounds, and equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for all occupants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and repairs.
2. Perform maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, HVAC repairs, and carpentry.
3. Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and address any issues in a timely manner.
4. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs for reference.
5. Assist in coordinating and overseeing maintenance projects as assigned.
6. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols in all maintenance activities.
7. Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for facility maintenance.
8. Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related issues and support organizational goals.
9. Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to facilities maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
