MRPC is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our Butler team. In this role, you will lead the construction, alteration, and repair of complex tools, dies, molds, and fixtures. We are looking for a precision-focused professional capable of handling intricate machining operations and bench work to meet exacting tolerances.

MRPC is seeking a skilled Toolmaker to join our Butler team. In this role, you will lead the construction, alteration, and repair of complex tools, dies, molds, and fixtures. Key Responsibilities
- Precision Machining: Execute complex setups and machining operations, often requiring creative improvisation to adapt tooling for specialized projects.
- Project Leadership: Independently organize work sequences, select materials, and perform layouts based on technical specifications.
- Bench Work & Maintenance: Perform critical finishing, fitting, aligning, and calibrating of mechanisms; maintain and repair molds to ensure optimal production quality.
- Innovation & Design: Design new tooling and fixtures for the plastics department when formal specifications are unavailable.
- Production Support: Set up modified tools for trial runs and provide technical guidance to machine operators on best practices and care.
- Quality Assurance: Take full ownership of dimensional accuracy, workmanship, and the mechanical efficiency of every project.
- Experience: Proven background as a Toolmaker is required.
- Education: Completion of an accredited Tool and Die Maker Apprenticeship program.
- Technical Expertise: 3 years of diversified tool and die making experience.
- Skills: Advanced knowledge of machining technology, mechanical principles, and precision mathematics. Proficiency with layout procedures and material treatment applications.
