At Holistic Change, we provide supportive behavioral health services to individuals facing substance use and co-occurring mental health challenges. We’re looking for Alcohol and Drug Trainees (ADTs) who are actively working toward full certification and want to make a meaningful difference while gaining supervised experience in the field.
What You’ll Do
Provide supervised counseling support to clients with substance use and co-occurring disordersWhat You’ll Do
- Assist in facilitating individual and group therapy sessions
- Conduct intake assessments and contribute to individualized treatment planning
- Document services and progress notes in compliance with agency standards
- Collaborate with clinical supervisors and multidisciplinary staff
- Help clients develop recovery skills and connect with community resources
What You Bring
- Active Alcohol and Drug Trainee (ADT) credential from the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred)
Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills - Understanding of recovery principles and client-centered care
- Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and TB test
Nice to Have
Experience in outpatient, IOP, or residential substance use programs- Familiarity with trauma-informed care and harm reduction models
- Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) a plus
Physical Requirements
May require sitting, standing, and light lifting (up to 20 lbs)- Able to perform essential duties with or without reasonable accommodation
