Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist with , product inquiries, and store needs
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling
• Manage cash register operations, including balancing cash drawers and processing payments
• Upsell products such as snacks, beverages, or automotive supplies to enhance customer satisfaction
• Stock shelves, maintain product displays, and ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-merchandised
• Assist with inventory management and stocking to ensure availability of popular items
• Support grocery store or convenience store functions as needed, including basic math calculations for transactions

Qualifications

• Previous retail sales or grocery store experience preferred; familiarity with retail math and merchandising is a plus
• Strong communication skills with the ability to provide clear information and friendly assistance
• Bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base effectively
• Experience operating cash registers and managing cash drawer handling accurately
• Knowledge of POS systems and cashiering procedures required
• Demonstrated ability to upsell products confidently while maintaining excellent customer service standards
• Supervising experience is advantageous for those interested in leadership opportunities within the team
• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
