Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Duties
- Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
- Provide patient care by monitoring vital signs and observing changes in health status.
- Support clients with meal preparation, cooking, and dietary needs while ensuring proper nutrition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans developed by healthcare professionals.
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts for safe patient transfers when necessary.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
- Document patient observations accurately while adhering to HIPAA regulations.
Requirements
- Previous experience in caregiving, home health, or assisted living environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of first aid, CPR, and basic nursing skills is highly beneficial.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, Alzheimer’s disease, or dementia is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team setting.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility needs.
- Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital sign assessment is desirable.
