Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Maintenance Director for our Senior Living homes to continue to keep our 3 communities running efficiently and maintenance operations are held to high level of standards. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities across 3 facilities with a total of 62 apartments. Your leadership will ensure optimal equipment performance, safety compliance, and operational efficiency. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive continuous improvements at our communities.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all maintenance functions, including mechanical, electrical, HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), and high/low voltage systems.
- Lead Safety Drills at communities on all shifts.
- Manage projects related to facilities management, including upgrades to infrastructure, safety improvements, and energy efficiency initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations related to electrical systems and general facility operations.
- Proven management experience in Senior Living maintenance environments with a strong track record of supervising teams effectively.
- Hands-on experience with industrial maintenance practices including troubleshooting electrical circuits, HVAC systems, low voltage controls, and mechanical components.
- Familiarity with facilities management principles covering building systems such as HVAC, plumbing, lighting, and safety protocols.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and team collaboration.
