What are the responsibilities and job description for the Caregiver position at Beehive Homes Assisted Living?
Beehive Homes of Santa Fe is currently seeking an experienced and reliable caregiver. We have 15 residents with two caregivers on the floor. The care ranges from bed-bound to walking. We are looking for a long term employee who is looking for a job they can grow with.
Requirements
· 18 years or older
· High School Diploma or GED
· Professional caregiving experience of at least 1 year
· Pass a national background check and drug screening
· Ability to lift 50 pounds
· Pass a medication technician test
Job Descriptions and Responsibilities
· Assist the residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADL's) while maintaining the resident's dignity, privacy, and confidentiality which includes but are not limited to:
- Bathing
- Dressing
- Transferring
- Toileting
- Continence Care
- Eating
· Monitor and vital signs including
- Temperature
- Pulse respirations
- Blood pressure
- Medication management
· Prepare light meals and snacks
· Perform housekeeping and laundry duties
· Safety supervision
· Complete yearly training
· Basic computer skills
· Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards our residents, visitors, families, and staff.
Job Type: Full-time
