Caregiver

Beehive Homes of Rio Rancho is currently looking for an experienced caregiver . We provide care for residents with various needs, including those who are able-bodied, wheelchair-bound, have dementia, diabetes, catheters, and residents on hospice. We care for individuals all the way through end-of-life care, so it's important for our staff to have empathy for our residents, their families, and co-workers. We have 3 locations in Rio Rancho and one in Bernalillo

Requirements:

- Must be 18 years or older

- High School Diploma or GED

- Professional caregiving experience of at least 1 year (preferred)

- Pass a national background check and drug screening

- Ability to lift 50 pounds

- Pass a medication technician test

Job Descriptions and Responsibilities:

- Assist residents with all Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while maintaining their dignity, privacy, and confidentiality, including but not limited to:

- Bathing

- Dressing

- Transferring

- Toileting

- Continence Care

- Eating

- Monitor vital signs including temperature, respiration, blood pressure, and medication management

- Prepare light meals and snacks

- Perform housekeeping and laundry duties

- Provide safety supervision

- Complete yearly training

- Basic computer skills

- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards our residents, visitors, families, and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
