What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Quality Analyst position at bedemobaseline?
Produce and analyze clinical descriptive and analytic data in support of strategic and operational decision making as well as continuous quality improvement including quality data management. Partners with clinical and administrative staff and management to collect and compile data, perform medical chart review, prepare performance reports & submit data for mandatory reporting. Has overall knowledge of accreditation standards & regulations functions of Medical Staff and clinical department Performance Improvement programs.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with Quality, HIMS, IT and other departments for quality data validation and work with technical resources to resolve data issues and/or set up new data processes.Perform clinical auditing and data abstraction of patient records in support of various quality data reporting systems.
- Collects & submits accurate, complete and timely data to various quality data reporting systems, including mandated reporting; maintains knowledge of mandated regulatory/publicly reported data requirements as specified by federal, state, payer and other agencies.
- Create and develop descriptive and analytic data reports from various sources; educate and support leadership and clinical informatics team in utilizing various report writing and data management and validation tools.
- Validate and analyze data using appropriate statistical tools.
- Collaborate with leadership team and informatics team to facilitate improvement of clinical workflows and processes to support accurate data management and collection.
- Participate in quality planning and outcomes measures for clinical departments.
- Active participant in inter-professional committees and councils including but not limited to Continuous Quality Improvement and Clinical Informatics.
- Supports the Mission and Vision of Lake Chelan Community Hospital & Clinics by basing decisions and actions on the Core Values.
