This Program Analyst is located in the Office of Personnel Management
Major Duties:
- Analyze and identify program areas that may benefit from automation or changes in policy, make recommendations to institute improvements and implement modernization and business re-engineering efforts.
- Work within team to develop or revise automated information systems, This includes planning, analysis and requirements, specification, design,testing, training, implementation and post-implementation activities.
- Serve as liaison between business users and technical members of the development team to develop application technical designs.
- Conduct comprehensive program studies and make recommendations for program changes based on study results.
- Analyze and assess the effect of program policy on program operations; formulate proposals to change policy where impact has been detrimental to programs.
