HR Coordinator
Talent Acquisition & HR Operations
Hybrid - 3 days in office

Our client is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and customer-focused HR Coordinator to join their Human Resources team. This role combines two closely related functions: talent acquisition operations and general HR operations support — giving the successful candidate broad exposure across the employee lifecycle, from requisition to retirement.
This position supports recruiting workflows, candidate experience, employer branding, and talent acquisition technology, while also owning core HR operations responsibilities including new hire onboarding and offboarding administration, HRIS data integrity, benefits administration support, employee records management, and general HR compliance. The HR Coordinator ensures a seamless and professional experience for candidates and employees alike, while maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment regulations.

Position Responsibilities:
Talent Acquisition Operations
- Coordinate and manage recruiting workflows through UKG Recruiting and related talent acquisition systems.
- Process and manage job requisitions, job postings, candidate workflows, and offer requests.
- Maintain recruiting data integrity and ensure candidate records are complete and accurate.
- Manage recruiting technology platforms and subscriptions including UKG Recruiting, Indeed, LinkedIn, Handshake, and other sourcing tools.
- Monitor and manage the Talent Acquisition shared email inbox.
- Generate recruiting reports and metrics as requested.
Candidate Experience
- Coordinate interview scheduling and logistics for candidates and hiring teams.
- Serve as a primary point of contact throughout the recruitment process.
- Ensure a professional, positive, and engaging candidate experience from application through onboarding.
- Assist with offer preparation and pre-employment activities.
Pre-Employment, Onboarding & Offboarding
- Coordinate initiation and completion of pre-employment screenings, including background checks and drug screenings.
- Monitor screening results and ensure timely communication with recruiters and hiring managers.
- Own new hire onboarding administration, including offer letter processing, new hire paperwork, I-9/E-Verify completion, and system setup coordination.
- Serve as a point of contact for new hires during their first days and weeks to ensure a smooth transition into the organization.
- Coordinate offboarding administration for departing employees, including exit paperwork, system deactivation requests, and final documentation.
- Assist with completion and collection of pre-employment and onboarding documentation.
HR Operations & Employee Records
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within the HRIS, including new hires, status changes, transfers, and terminations.
- Process employee data changes and ensure data integrity across HR systems.
- Support day-to-day administration of employee benefits enrollment, changes, and inquiries in partnership with the benefits team.
- Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, escalating complex matters to HR leadership as needed.
- Assist with unemployment claims, verification of employment requests, and other routine HR administrative requests.
- Support leave of absence administration and tracking in coordination with HR leadership.
- Maintain organized, compliant personnel files and documentation, both physical and electronic.
Employer Branding & University Recruiting
- Support employer branding initiatives across recruiting and social media platforms.
- Assist in promoting as an employer of choice.
- Support participation in career fairs, networking events, university partnerships, and recruiting programs.
- Coordinate recruiting materials, event logistics, and candidate communications.
Compliance & Process Management
- Maintain recruiting and HR records in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local employment laws.
- Ensure recruiting and HR processes align with company policies, Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements, and hiring best practices.
- Support compliance with pay transparency requirements, applicant tracking requirements, and record retention obligations across both TA and HR operations.
- Assist in documenting, reviewing, and continuously improving recruiting and HR operational processes.
- Support preparation for and response to HR-related audits and compliance reviews.
Continuous Improvement
- Research and recommend innovative recruiting and HR tools, technologies, and best practices.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruiting efficiency, candidate and employee experience, and overall HR service delivery.
- Support Talent Acquisition and HR projects and strategic initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience supporting recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or administrative operations.
- Experience working within UKG (ATS) and UKG (HRIS) is required.
- Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage priorities across two functional areas.
- Exceptional attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive employee and candidate data.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience supporting multi-state recruiting and/or HR operations.
- Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Handshake, or similar recruiting platforms.
- Experience with HRIS platforms and general HR administration (benefits, onboarding/offboarding, records management).
- Knowledge of employment laws and both recruiting and HR compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting employer branding or campus recruiting initiatives.

Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Ability to work in a professional office environment on a hybrid schedule in our Greenwood Village Office
- Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods.
