Responsibilities
- Customer Relations: Promote excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer-focused behavior with associates. Smile and greet customers, answer customer questions, and help resolve customer concerns promptly in a polite and professional manner.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels and review orders to ensure product quantities meet customer demand. Maintain backroom organization and product storage within company guidelines.
- Team Leadership: Schedule all seafood associates, oversee and participate in training, rewards, and recognizes performance, and delegate work assignments to effectively utilize talents and abilities while maximizing profits for the department.
- Merchandising and Displays: Develop and implement localized merchandising plans, set up and create displays for new or seasonal items to drive sales, and develop and maintain communications with other departments and store manager to devise cross-merchandising plans.
- Financial Management: Prepare and maintain records of inventories to calculate gross monthly profits, consistent with company guidelines, and monitor competitor activity concerning merchandising, pricing, quality, and comparison signage.
