Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to fill the role of Quality Assurance and Inspection Specialist. This position will be responsible for ensuring the quality and safety of incoming parts, equipment, and materials throughout their lifecycle.
This role involves a wide variety of tasks including creating and maintaining inspection documents, performing equipment inspections, generating technical documentation, and developing safety labels. The successful candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities.
The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent and some college or technical training in Quality Assurance, Engineering, or related fields is a plus. Previous QA or manufacturing experience is also an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain equipment inspection packets and paperwork
- Perform equipment inspections to ensure they meet safety and operational standards
- Generate and review equipment documentation
- Develop and maintain safety labels for equipment
- Capture detailed photos and videos of equipment and parts for documentation purposes
- Ensure full and accurate inspection reports for all equipment
- Inspect and assess equipment parts for quality and compliance with specifications
- Review and verify parts produced by machine shops meet quality standards
- Inspect parts sourced from external suppliers for quality and compliance
- Document discrepancies in products or processes and follow up for resolution
