Job Description
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in routing, switching, and wireless technologies, as well as experience with firewalls, routers, switches, and monitoring applications. They will also possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively document and explain complex network topologies to technical and non-technical audiences.
In this role, you will work closely with our team to ensure the smooth operation of our network infrastructure, including troubleshooting and resolving issues, performing maintenance tasks, and providing documentation to support network operations.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Strong understanding of routing protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF) and switching technologies (VLANs, Spanning Tree)
- Experience with firewall configuration and maintenance, particularly with Cisco ASA and Palo Alto platforms
- Proficiency in load balancer technologies, specifically F5
- Knowledge of Wi-Fi technologies, including Cisco and Aruba platforms
- B.S. in a technical field or relevant combination of education and experience
- Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) or Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification
