About the Position:
This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires an experienced Registered Nurse to provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns during critical phases of childbirth.
About the Ideal Candidate:The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of obstetric nursing, critical care, and emergency medicine, as well as the ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations. They must also be able to work effectively as part of an interdisciplinary team to ensure safe and positive birth experiences. In addition, they must have prior experience in L&D/LDRP and a minimum of six months' Medical/Surgical experience in an acute care setting.
Responsibilities and Duties:- Monitor the health status of mothers and newborns throughout the labor process.
- Administer medications and perform necessary medical procedures such as phlebotomizing and IV placement.
- Assist with labor management, including providing education and emotional support to patients.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
