Job Requirements
This position requires a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist with excellent clinical skills, a commitment to patient safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. You will work collaboratively with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other physicians to deliver high-quality anesthesia services.
Key Responsibilities
- To implement accurate and safe patient-centric anesthetic care
- To monitor vital signs, capnography, and pulse oximetry during anesthesia according to ASA guidelines
- To ensure appropriate documentation within hospital and regulatory requirements
Essential Qualifications
- Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist completion of a nurse anesthesia educational program accredited by the American Association of Nurse Anesthetists
- Current State of Connecticut nursing license and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure
- AANA certification, ACLS DEA registration, and State of CT controlled substance registration
