The Facilities Maintenance Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of facilities, including buildings, locker rooms, and adjacent grounds areas. The ideal candidate will have basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in custodial work and routine maintenance.
Main Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain classrooms, restrooms, showers, locker rooms, shops, cafeteria, offices, and related facilities.
- Sweep, mop, and clean gymnasium floor as assigned.
- Report safety, sanitary, and fire hazards to the appropriate authority.
- Perform minor non-technical repairs and maintain security of buildings.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, tools, and equipment used in custodial work and routine maintenance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds frequently.
