About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious individual to join our team as a Class A Yard Driver. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely moving tractor trailers to and from loading docks, maintaining compliance with Department of Transportation regulations, and performing other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL);
- 6-12 months of tractor trailer experience;
- Internal candidates may be promoted with less than 6 months experience with good performance record and in accordance with driver training program requirements where applicable;
- Must be able to work the scheduled, assigned times and required overtime for the position;
- Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable);
- Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years;
- Pass pre-employment drug test;
- Pass road test;
- Valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card.
