Airworthiness Clearance Engineer
This role provides professional support services in support of the Air Force Unmanned Systems Branch located at Hurlburt Field AFB, FL.

Responsibilities:
  • Working knowledge of technical documents, determining sufficiency for demonstrating compliance with specifications and airworthiness means of compliance, summarizing findings, recommended changes, and communicating all results to program offices.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and briefings on sUAS capabilities, limitations, and airworthiness documentation required to obtain FAA COAs.

What We're Looking For:
  • 6 years of experience in Airworthiness with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
  • MIL-HDBK-516, Airworthiness Certification Criteria and MIL-STD 882, Standard Practice for System Safety
