Beautiful Mandarin Language Institute, located in the heart of Manhattan, is dedicated to providing high-quality Mandarin language instruction combined with engaging cultural activities. Our professional teachers use well-established materials from China, catering their teaching methods to various ages and skill levels. With small class sizes of three to eight students, we emphasize interactive and fun lessons that foster speaking and listening skill development. Beyond the classroom, we enrich language learning through monthly cultural activities such as museum visits, movie nights, and hands-on experiences like making dumplings.
We are seeking enthusiastic Mandarin Summer Camp Teachers/Counselors for a part-time, on-site position based in New York, NY. Responsibilities include planning and conducting engaging Mandarin lessons and cultural activities, supervising and ensuring the well-being of summer camp students, and fostering a supportive and interactive learning environment.
- Strong skills in Lesson Planning and Teaching
- Experience in Education and Training
- Excellent Communication skills
- Fluency in Mandarin and familiarity with Chinese culture
- Creative and energetic approach to teaching young learners
- Previous experience working with children or in a camp setting is a plus
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Language Teaching, or a related field is preferred
