- Compensation
- $1,200–$1,300 per week average
- After training pay: $0.43–$0.57 per mile (sliding scale).
- Experienced driver pay: $0.50–$0.71 per mile depending on experience.
- Training pay for drivers with under 6 months’ experience: $680 per week during a 4–6 week OTR training period.
- Monthly safety bonus: up to $0.06 per mile.

- Primary responsibilities
- Safely operate 53' dry van tractors on assigned regional routes.
- Perform pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections and basic vehicle care.
- Handle primarily no‑touch freight with drop‑and‑hook; occasional live load/unload duties may occur.
- Maintain accurate ELD or paper logs and comply with Hours‑of‑Service and other federal regulations.
- Follow company safety procedures and participate in required training and coaching.
- Minimum qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL and minimum age 21.
- Graduation from an accredited truck driving school with at least 120 hours (recent graduates encouraged).
- Reasonably clean driving record: no major accidents, major violations, or suspensions within the past five years; no DUI within five years.
- No involuntary termination from most recent employment; employment history will be reviewed for stability (limited gaps preferred; maximum six months unemployed in the last year and one year in the last three years, subject to review).
- Ability to pass pre‑employment urine and hair drug screens and required background checks; safety review will consider criminal convictions.
- Training and support
- Paid OTR training with a trainer for new drivers to ensure readiness for regional operations.
