Job Title: Workday Integrations Manager (Senior Project Manager)
Location: Hybrid - Providence, RI
Employment Type: 6 Months Contract
Position Overview
The Workday Integrations Manager is responsible for leading the design, development, and maintenance of integrations between Workday and external systems to ensure seamless, accurate, and secure data exchange. This role requires deep technical expertise in Workday integration tools, strong business process understanding across Finance, HCM, and Payroll, and proven project management skills to drive successful implementation and ongoing optimization of Workday integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end integration lifecycle from requirements gathering through design, testing, deployment, and post-production support.
- Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for Workday integrations, ensuring solutions align with business goals and industry best practices.
- Develop and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and web services (REST/SOAP).
- Collaborate with HR, Finance, IT, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into effective technical solutions.
- Monitor and troubleshoot integration performance and data accuracy, ensuring adherence to data governance, quality, and security standards.
- Maintain compliance with State security and data privacy policies.
- Provide strategic leadership in developing and maintaining the Workday integration roadmap and defining integration best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience with Workday integrations.
- Proficiency with Workday Studio, EIBs, Core Connectors, and related integration tools.
- Strong technical knowledge of XML, XSLT, JSON, and familiarity with Python or JavaScript for custom integrations.
- In-depth understanding of Finance, HCM, and Payroll processes within Workday.
- Experience managing integration projects, including requirement analysis, development, testing, and validation.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Workday Integration Certification preferred.
