What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intake Specialist position at Beacon Specialized Living?
Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions
- Data entry of referrals/daily updates in CRU/HER systems.
- Daily communication with community mental health organizations/all referring agencies regarding referrals or potential leads.
- Updating systems during calls.
- Assign assessments to intake nurse when uploading referrals to CRM system. Assign all assessments out internally when needing to be done in person.
- CRM daily updates regarding referrals. Update all spreadsheets to reflect admission/discharge/transfer discussions that are happening internally.
- Attends conferences, training sessions, seminars, and other professional skill development activities as approved.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years of previous experience in a human service-related field, preferably mental illness industry preferred.
- Licensed in a human service-related discipline preferred.
