What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ed Tech III/BHP/Teachers Aide position at Beacon House?
NFI North Beacon House has an immediate openings for Ed Tech III/Teacher's Aide. This high staff intensive residential program is located in Buxton, ME serving children ages 13 - 18 and operating a Special Purpose Private School to meet their educational needs.
The Ed Tech/Teacher's Aide is responsible for classroom support including assisting students with lesson assignments, planning and preparing teaching aids, coordinating instructional efforts with the school team and helping students prep for the start of the school day.
Qualifications includes a certification (or eligible to be certified) as an Ed Tech III and Behavioral Health Professional (BHP) plus one year of experience working with youth. Strong organizational skills are necessary; ability to instruct, assume and delegate responsibilities and exercise decision making is also required.
The ideal candidate will be flexible, energetic and have the desire to be part of a team of professional. This is a fulltime benefit eligible position that operates on a 200 day calendar in addition to a five week summer schedule.
