Paralegal

Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a personal injury law firm in Rock Hill, SC seeking an experienced Paralegal. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity that is primarily onsite, with the potential for a hybrid schedule as you settle into the role.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing frequent updates and exceptional service throughout the lifecycle of their case
• Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claims, documentation, and case status
• Prepare demand packages and settlement proposals for attorney review
• Maintain and update client files with accuracy and strict attention to confidentiality
• Coordinate with medical providers and facilities to obtain records, balances, and lien information
• Track balances and lien details to support case resolution
• Scan, organize, and package legal documents as needed
• Handle routine clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, drafting standard correspondence, and managing high-volume email communication
• Treat every client with empathy, professionalism, and respect-always leading with a client‑first mindset
• Consistently promote core values centered around family, trust, community, and quality

Qualifications

• 5 years of paralegal or case manager experience within a personal injury practice
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems (Filevine, Lead Docket, Case Status, and EvenUp preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a high‑volume caseload
• Professional, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information
• Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team environment
• Proactive problem‑solver with a positive attitude
