Beacon Hill Legal is partnering with a personal injury law firm in Rock Hill, SC seeking an experienced Paralegal. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity that is primarily onsite, with the potential for a hybrid schedule as you settle into the role.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, providing frequent updates and exceptional service throughout the lifecycle of their case
- Communicate with insurance adjusters regarding claims, documentation, and case status
- Prepare demand packages and settlement proposals for attorney review
- Maintain and update client files with accuracy and strict attention to confidentiality
- Coordinate with medical providers and facilities to obtain records, balances, and lien information
- Track balances and lien details to support case resolution
- Scan, organize, and package legal documents as needed
- Handle routine clerical tasks such as scheduling appointments, drafting standard correspondence, and managing high-volume email communication
- Treat every client with empathy, professionalism, and respect-always leading with a client‑first mindset
- Consistently promote core values centered around family, trust, community, and quality
Qualifications
- 5 years of paralegal or case manager experience within a personal injury practice
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to quickly learn new systems (Filevine, Lead Docket, Case Status, and EvenUp preferred)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage a high‑volume caseload
- Professional, discreet, and comfortable handling confidential information
- Strong interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a team environment
- Proactive problem‑solver with a positive attitude
