What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paralegal/Case Manager position at Beacon Hill?
Beacon Hill Legal is seeking a paralegal or case manager for an onsite, contract to permanent position with our client in Rock Hill, South Carolina. This is a full-time role, Monday - Friday, during standard business hours.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience as a personal injury paralegal or case manager. Workers' compensation experience strongly preferred but not required. Essential duties:
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating often with clients about case status and progression.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters about claims and case status
- Prepare settlement proposals and demand packages for attorney review
- Maintain and update client files, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Scan, print and package legal documents.
- Coordinate with medical staff and facilities
- Check on balances and obtain lien information
- Other clerical duties as necessary, such as scheduling appointments, drafting routine documents, and frequent email communications
