Our client a professional association organization is seeking a PAC & Advocacy Coordinator to join their team on a temporary to permanent basis in Washington, D.C.
About The Job:
- Support the day-to-day operations, communications, and initiatives of a Political Action Committee within a professional association
- Implement fundraising strategies and support contributor stewardship to drive ongoing growth
- Coordinate and execute events, including major conferences, advocacy summits, and fundraising activities
- Maintain records, databases, and website content, ensuring accuracy and compliance
- Develop reports and presentations for senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to increase visibility and engagement
- Support grassroots advocacy initiatives by engaging members and expanding participation nationwide
- Serve as a liaison to internal groups and external partners, supporting relationship management and outreach efforts
About You:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2 years of experience in relevant field
- Strong project management and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of PAC compliance rules, legislative, and regulatory processes
- Experience with fundraising, stakeholder engagement, and relationship management
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including drafting presentations and materials
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with database systems
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
About The Position:
- Start Date: ASAP!
- $30-$37/hr
- Perm Salary Range: $75K-$81K
- Hybrid: 2 days onsite
- Travel required to Maryland HQ and national events
