Junior Accountant

Beacon Hill Financial is working with a company in Manhattan to bring an Junior Accountant to their team. This individual will be responsible for posting jounral entries to the GL, support AR and AP responsabilities, maintain financial records, perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations. Strong experience with Excel or Workday is highly preferred. Please submit your resume if your experience aligns!

Key Responsabilities:

• Assist with the preparation of budgets and forecasts by gathering and analyzing financial data.
• Maintain and update fixed asset schedules, including tracking additions and depreciation.
• Support internal and external audit requests by preparing documentation and schedules.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding invoices, discrepancies, and variances.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and GAAP standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional departments to resolve financial issues and improve processes.
