Insurance Defense Attorney

Beacon Hill's client, a national law firm, is seeking a contract litigation attorney for their Sacramento, CA, office.

• Location: Sacramento, CA 95826 (Hybrid - must be available for in-office work as needed)
• Duration: Ongoing, potentially 6 months with the possibility of direct hire (Concurrent employment not permitted)
• Hours: 40-hour workweeks

Qualifications:

• Active California bar licensed in good standing
• 1 year of experience in insurance defense and/or other defense-side litigation attorney experience.

Duties (including but not limited to):

• Drafting discovery, preparing expert disclosures, and covering simple depositions.
• Legal research, briefing, procedure, and advocacy.
• This position would potentially involve supporting a partner in trying cases in front of a jury, when possible.
