Our client, a leading financial services firm located in Austin, TX, is seeking an HR Coordinator to support HR operations and talent coordination during a period of growth. This role will manage onboarding/offboarding, compliance tracking, training coordination, and administrative HR processes while supporting both the Head of HR and Chief Talent Officer. The environment is collaborative, fast‑paced, and highly operational. This is a full‑time, onsite, direct hire role with a 8:30-5:30 schedule and overtime eligibility.
Job Responsibilities:
Coordinate onboarding and offboarding processes, including interviews, background checks, badges, equipment, desk setups, and first‑day support
Schedule and coordinate interviews across departments
Manage background checks and refreshes (ClearStar) and escalate flagged issues to HR leadership
Prepare and distribute new hire communications and training materials
Track and archive performance review documentation and follow‑ups
Maintain TriNet employee records and generate HR reports and dashboards
Manage compliance initiatives such as anti‑harassment training and handbook acknowledgements
Support benefits questions, open enrollment, and 401(k) communications
Assist with talent dashboards, headcount reporting, DDQs, and intern/analyst programs
Qualifications:
3 years of HR or HR‑adjacent experience
Financial services industry experience strongly preferred
High level of judgment, discretion, and professionalism
Strong organizational and coordination skills
Proficiency in Outlook, Microsoft Office (Excel & PowerPoint)
Comfort working in a highly administrative, operational HR role
Strong communication and customer‑service mindset
Curious, growth‑oriented, and open to using AI and new tools
