What are the responsibilities and job description for the Data Entry Paralegal position at Beacon Hill?
Beacon Hill is seeking Paralegals to support a nonprofit organization's Operations team on a short-term project assignment. This is a temporary, one-month role, starting ASAP. The Paralegals will assist with entering and processing a backlog of charitable registrations. This is an excellent opportunity for detail-oriented paralegals with strong data entry skills who are interested in supporting nonprofit operations on a project basis.
Input and process charitable registration information into internal systems with a high level of accuracy.
Review registration materials to ensure completeness and proper documentation.
Perform data entry and record updates related to nonprofit and charitable filings.
Organize, track, and maintain records of completed and pending registrations.
Identify missing or inconsistent information and flag issues for follow-up.
Support the Operations team in clearing a backlog of charitable registrations within established timelines.
Adhere to data accuracy, confidentiality, and quality control standards.
Perform additional administrative or project-related tasks as assigned.
Paralegal experience required; paralegals only.
Prior experience with data entry, document review, or administrative legal support strongly preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to manage repetitive tasks efficiently while meeting deadlines.
Familiarity with nonprofit, regulatory, or charitable filings is a plus.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Ability to commit to the full one-month assignment.
