Commercial Real Estate Paralegal
📍 Chicago, IL (Onsite 4 days a month ONLY)
💰 $90,000 - $120,000 (Depending on experience)
We are partnering with a well-established law firm seeking a Commercial Real Estate Paralegal to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced attorneys on sophisticated real estate transactions in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing
- Draft, review, and revise legal documents such as purchase agreements, leases, closing documents, and due diligence materials
- Coordinate and manage due diligence, including title and survey review
- Prepare and organize closing binders and assist with closings from start to finish
- Communicate with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involved in transactions
- Maintain and organize transaction files and ensure deadlines are met
Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Paralegal, with a focus on commercial transactions
- Strong knowledge of title and survey review, zoning, and due diligence processes
- Experience handling closings independently
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with legal software and document management systems is a plus
- Paralegal certificate and/or bachelor's degree preferred
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
