Benefits Director
Location: Hybrid in Cambridge, MA (onsite 2 days/week)
A life sciences client in Cambridge, MA, is looking to hire a Benefits Director to strategically lead and manage the company's benefits offerings. This is an exciting opportunity to join a talented team and play an important role in shaping the future of the benefits program.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and execute the employee benefits plan, including retirement, health, and well-being
- Partner with senior leadership across the company on benefit strategy
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
- Oversee benefit plan vendors, brokers, and consultants, with an eye towards quality, service, and cost-effectiveness
- Manage the communication plan to ensure employees understand and engage with company benefits
- Analyze and incorporate feedback and benefits trends to consistently improve employee offerings
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10 years of benefits experience with increasing responsibility, including serving in a strategic leadership role
- Demonstrated ability to manage vendors and negotiate offerings, resulting in a cost-effective, high-quality benefits program
- People management experience required
- Experience working in both the life sciences and in a larger, complex organization strongly preferred
