The Application Analyst II will support and enhance Epic-based laboratory applications, with a primary focus on Epic Beaker AP. This role involves application configuration, troubleshooting, optimization, and cross‑functional collaboration in support of clinical and operational workflows.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot Epic applications
- Provide ongoing support for Epic Beaker modules, with emphasis on Anatomic Pathology (AP)
- Participate in incident, problem, and change management processes within defined SLAs
- Proactively identify and resolve both routine and complex application issues
- Collaborate with technical, clinical, and operational teams on support and project work
- Create and maintain system documentation and support materials
- Participate in an on‑call rotation as required
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and workflow optimization
- Epic Beaker AP Certification (required)
- Epic Beaker Analyst experience (4 years)
- EHR application implementation and/or support experience (2 years)
- Hands‑on AP lab experience (e.g., Surgical Pathology, Histology, or Cytology)
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Epic Beaker CP Certification
- Experience supporting enterprise‑scale healthcare systems
