What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Manager (UKG) position at Beacon Hill Staffing Group?
We're supporting a well-known national organization in their search for a Senior Payroll Manager to join their team on a long-term contract basis.
In this role, you'll serve as a strategic partner to HR leadership, focusing on optimizing UKG Dimensions timekeeping and workforce management systems. The position is a mix of strategic, leadership, and some processing work, requiring deep technical expertise in UKG and large-scale payroll operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a payroll team within a large, complex organization (15,000 employees).
Partner with HR, Finance, and Technology teams to enhance payroll and timekeeping processes within UKG Dimensions.
Oversee payroll tax, accounting, and garnishment functions with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
Ensure adherence to all federal and state payroll laws and compliance standards.
Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Must-Have Qualifications:
5 years of UKG experience (Dimensions preferred).
Proven payroll leadership experience managing and developing teams within organizations of 15,000 employees.
Strong technical knowledge of payroll accounting, taxation, and garnishment.
Expertise in federal and state payroll compliance and legislation.
Progressive payroll management experience with a focus on optimization and strategy.
