We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Administrator to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time while maintaining compliance with payroll regulations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working with both numbers and people.
Key Responsibilities:
Process regular payroll cycles including hourly, salaried, and contractor employees
Review and validate timekeeping data to ensure accuracy before payroll runs
Assist with employee setup and changes (new hires, terminations, salary adjustments, benefit deductions)
Maintain payroll records and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations
Support payroll tax reporting and year-end activities (W-2s, 1099s, etc.)
Act as a resource for employees regarding payroll, deductions, and direct deposit inquiries
Partner with HR and Finance on reporting, reconciliations, and audits as needed
Qualifications:
Previous experience in payroll administration
Familiarity with payroll systems and timekeeping software
Knowledge of payroll laws and compliance standards
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
