We are incredibly excited to bring unparalleled patient care to the Treasure Valley community and the Pharmacy Technician position below will be a critical position as we launch our office.Beacon has an excellent opportunity available within our clinic as a Pharmacy Technician with intention to be trained in sterile compounding. This role would start out as Monday-Wednesday will the expectation that we will grow to Monday through Thursday by about mid-year.Duties/Responsibilities:Prepares IV chemotherapy and pre-medications.Dispenses chemotherapy and other IV medications to our patients and supports our medically integrated dispensary.Maintains accurate and organized records of medications, supplies and transactions.Ensures physician orders are processed in a timely manner.Helps manage inventory and anticipates medication and supply needs.Assists with grants, prior authorizations, and insurance eligibility and verification.Displays professionalism and has great customer service and communication skills.Complies with all applicable procedures, rules and regulations and adheres to health and safety policies and protocols.Required Skills/Abilities:Communication: You will have to act as a liaison for regulatory agencies and you must also be able to generate verbal and written reports of your observations.Ethics: This position requires that you are able to uphold the code of ethics in regard to medical science and human subjects.Team Player: You must work well with others during conversations, projects, meetings, or other collaborations.
