Operational Duties:

Provide guests with exceptional service.

Remove litter from all areas.

Clean and sanitize restrooms, including sinks, toilets, floors, and mirrors.

Sweep walkways, decks, and paved areas.

Maintain pedestrian areas, including cleaning benches and tables, and moving tubes and tables.

Empty trash cans and ashtrays.
-
Clean up park spills, including bodily spills.
-
Water and maintain grass, flowers, shrubs, and trees.
-
Operate lawn mowers, gas-powered trimmers, and hand tools.
-
Clean, sweep, wash, lift tables, and move heavy objects.
-
Identify and control weeds, ants, and other undesirables.
-
Monitor grounds for overgrowth, dead plant material, debris, or trash.
-
Remove, install, repair thatched roofing using palm leaves.
-
Provide guests and staff with a clean, safe environment.
-
Maintain high standards of safety in the workplace.
-
Assist with various tasks assigned by maintenance management.
-
Perform any other miscellaneous tasks assigned by landscaping supervisors.
Qualifications:
-
Must be at least 18 years old for grounds maintenance roles.

Must be friendly and outgoing with a high customer service acumen.

Required to maintain established performance levels.

Must be able to work with minimal supervision when required.

Must be able to work in a diverse team environment.

Must be hardworking, dependable, and dedicated.
-
Previous maintenance or grounds experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:

Walking to and from your entire assigned area, climbing ladders, and stairs when necessary.

Standing with or without movement for extended periods of time.

Must have tolerance for working in smoking areas of the waterpark and employee break areas.

Sitting for extended periods of time while maintaining a sense of high alertness.

Exposure to sun and heat for extended periods of time.

Bending, pushing, pulling, and lifting heavy objects.

Must be able to push up to 50lbs and lift up to 20lbs.

Must frequently use hands/fingers to handle tools, controls, and reach with hands and arms.
