Job Summary: An Assistant Property Manager and Leasing Agent supports daily property operations by handling leasing, tenant communication, maintenance coordination, and basic financial tasks. This role involves working closely with current and prospective residents to ensure the property is well-maintained, fully occupied, and running smoothly.
- Reports to: Property Manager or Regional Property Supervisor
- Location: 15400 Belgrade St, Westminster, CA 92683
- Position Type: Part-time (30-32 hours per week)
- Pay rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
- Schedule: Available to work Weekends
Key Responsibilities:
- Show units, assist with applications, prepare lease agreements, and manage move-in/move-out processes
- Respond to tenant inquiries, resolve complaints, and promote positive resident experiences
- Coordinate maintenance requests and oversee property repairs
- Assist with rent collection, invoice processing, and financial reporting
- Manage calls, correspondence, records, and provide general office support
- Ensure compliance with laws and regulations, including fair housing and lease agreements
- Support marketing efforts to attract tenants and maintain occupancy
- Collaborate with the property manager and maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations
- Other tasks assigned by the Property Manager or Regional Supervisor
Requirements
- Experience in property management or leasing
- Strong communication, organizational, and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; knowledge of property management software is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
