Duties
- Meet with clients to discuss case details, demonstrating empathy and earning their confidence and respect.
- Communicate regularly with clients and insurance companies regarding claim status, demands, and settlement offers.
- Prepare cases for trial and serve as first chair during jury trials when necessary.
- Evaluate claims and leverage superb negotiation skills to resolve matters efficiently.
Requirements
- Must be a member of the Illinois Bar and in good standing.
- Possess six or more years of litigation experience.
- Demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently.
- Exhibit strong team-oriented values while maintaining professional autonomy.
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
Certifications
- Active license to practice law in the State of Illinois.
Skills
- Experience with five or more jury trials as first chair is preferred.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to evaluate claims and navigate complex legal landscapes.
