Key Responsibilities
• Supervise and guide attorneys and staff handling probate and estate planning matters
• Provide feedback on case strategy, legal analysis, and work product
• Manage case planning and ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures
• Lead case review meetings and co-counsel matters as appropriate
• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives
• Assist with drafting, implementing, and improving organizational policies
• Represent the organization in meetings with external stakeholders
• Maintain a modest caseload while participating in ongoing professional development

Qualifications
• Active membership or eligibility for membership in the District of Columbia Bar required
• Minimum of three years of experience in legal services, government, or private practice
• Prior experience in probate law or estate planning strongly preferred
• At least one year of supervisory or management experience required
• Experience appearing before DC Superior Court preferred
• Strong leadership, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Excel
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
