Job Overview

A law firm seeks a Real Estate Attorney in Washington, D.C., to join its dedicated real estate department. The ideal candidate brings over five years of transactional experience, with a strong focus on commercial real estate acquisition, financing, and development. Duties

• Manage complex commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and financing.
• Oversee the development aspects of real estate projects, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment.
• Draft, review, and negotiate transactional documents and related legal instruments.

Requirements

• Minimum of five years of experience in real estate transactional law.
• Demonstrated expertise in commercial real estate acquisition, sale, and financing.
• Admitted to the D.C. Bar or eligible for admission.

Education

• Strong academic background with a Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active bar admission in the District of Columbia.

Skills

• Immediate transferable skills in commercial real estate transactions.
• Ability to handle multiple matters with attention to detail and strategic thinking.
