Job Overview

A globally recognized Am Law firm is seeking a Structured Credit CLO Senior Associate for its New York office. This is a rare opportunity to join one of the premier teams in the structured finance space, representing investment banks, asset managers, and institutional investors on complex CLO and credit product transactions.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience structuring and negotiating sophisticated credit transactions and an eagerness to contribute to a high-performing, collaborative team that is deeply respected in the financial services industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise and represent investment banks, collateral managers, and arrangers in CLO and structured credit transactions.

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents, including indentures, collateral management agreements, and offering materials.

• Manage all stages of structured finance transactions, from initial term sheet to closing.

• Provide business-oriented legal advice on credit products, securitizations, and capital markets transactions.

• Collaborate closely with partners and clients, assuming significant client-facing responsibilities.

• Mentor junior associates and contribute to the continued growth of the structured finance practice.

Qualifications

• 6 years of experience handling structured credit and CLO transactions.

• Admission to the New York State Bar in good standing.

• Deep understanding of credit products, leveraged finance, and structured investment vehicles.

• Exceptional drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.

• Ability to lead deals while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Strong client relationship and communication abilities.
