Job Overview

A law firm seeks a junior to mid-level associate for its Securities and Public Company Advisory department in New York, NY, or Washington, DC. The ideal candidate will have 3-6 years of experience in bankruptcy and restructuring at a major law firm, with a focus on large restructurings and representing creditors.

Duties

• Assist in large restructuring transactions and litigation.
• Represent creditors, particularly secured creditors, in restructuring matters.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex legal issues.

Requirements

• 3-6 years of experience in bankruptcy/restructuring at a major law firm.
• Experience in both transactional and litigation aspects of restructuring.
• Membership in the Bar in the United States.

Education

• Law degree from an ABA-accredited law school.

Certifications

• Bar membership in the United States.

Skills
