Job Overview

A law firm seeks a 3rd or 4th year litigation associate to join its expanding Chicago team. This role offers the opportunity to engage in high-stakes disputes with significant early responsibility. Duties

• Manage and litigate high-stakes disputes, taking on substantial responsibility early in the career.
• Conduct legal research, draft motions and briefs, and prepare for trial proceedings.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies and resolve complex legal issues.

Requirements

• Must be a current member of the Illinois bar.
• Outstanding academic credentials and strong writing and oral advocacy skills.
• Drive to apply legal skills immediately in a fast-paced litigation environment.
• Current judicial clerks are encouraged to apply.

Education

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications

• Active license to practice law in the State of Illinois.
