This position is designed for an accomplished employment litigator capable of independently managing sophisticated plaintiff-side employment cases from initial consultation through trial and appeal.
The successful candidate will represent employees in state and federal courts, arbitration proceedings, administrative hearings, and appellate matters involving discrimination, retaliation, wage and hour violations, wrongful termination, civil rights, whistleblower claims, restrictive covenants, trade secrets, and related employment disputes.

Key Responsibilities
• Independently manage sophisticated plaintiff-side employment litigation matters from intake through final resolution.
• Represent employees in federal and state court litigation.
• Handle matters involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage and hour disputes, FMLA claims, whistleblower actions, civil rights violations, restrictive covenants, and trade secret litigation.
• Represent clients before the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and other administrative agencies.
• Handle arbitration proceedings, mediations, evidentiary hearings, trials, and appellate matters.
• Conduct comprehensive client consultations and evaluate potential claims.
• Develop strategic litigation plans designed to maximize successful outcomes.
• Conduct witness interviews and oversee factual investigations.
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, discovery responses, settlement agreements, and appellate briefs.
• Conduct and defend depositions.
• Present oral arguments before courts and administrative tribunals.
• Negotiate favorable settlements on behalf of clients.
• Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and litigation support staff.
• Report litigation strategy and case developments to firm leadership.
• Mentor junior attorneys and legal professionals.
• Participate in business development, networking, client relationship management, and professional organizations.
• Travel as necessary for court appearances and client matters.

Qualifications
• Minimum 5 years of plaintiff-side employment law experience.
• Significant litigation experience with extensive trial, hearing, mediation, arbitration, and deposition practice.
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage sophisticated employment litigation.
• Extensive knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Strong understanding of civil procedure and rules of evidence.
• Experience handling appellate matters is highly desirable.
• Exceptional legal research and legal writing abilities.
