An elite national labor and employment law firm is seeking a Labor and Employment Attorney to join its Professional Development Team as an Attorney Coach and Trainer. This unique, non-billable role combines legal expertise with leadership development, offering the opportunity to shape the growth of attorneys across the firm’s offices. Key Responsibilities

• Design and conduct training programs for attorneys through online and in-person formats.

• Lead one-on-one coaching sessions to enhance legal and professional skills.

• Develop templates, tools, and resources to support attorney performance.

• Collaborate with the Learning and Professional Development Team to identify training needs.

• Assist with firmwide rollouts of legal software and technology initiatives.

• Travel to firm offices and conferences to conduct training and development sessions.

• Implement creative, practical solutions for evolving training and skill-building requirements.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to create, deliver, and evaluate legal training programs.

• Prior experience coaching or mentoring attorneys preferred.

• J.D. from an accredited law school with active U.S. Bar membership (Illinois preferred).

• Substantial labor and employment law knowledge, including class action and compliance experience.

• Strong interpersonal, presentation, and collaboration skills.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite, e-learning platforms, and AI-based training tools.

• Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail and quality.
