Overview

A highly regarded corporate law practice in Phoenix is seeking a Corporate Transactions Associate with 1–4 years of experience to join its growing team. This opportunity is ideal for an attorney interested in private equity, venture capital, and emerging companies work, with hands-on involvement in complex transactions and close collaboration with clients and senior attorneys.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise clients on sophisticated corporate transactions, including private equity and venture capital financings

• Support strategic and financial mergers and acquisitions

• Assist with angel and venture capital investments, joint ventures, and debt offerings

• Draft and negotiate transaction documents and complex commercial agreements

• Provide outside general counsel support on corporate governance and day-to-day business matters

• Work directly with clients to address ongoing legal and operational needs

Qualifications

• 1–4 years of experience in corporate transactions

• Experience with private equity, venture capital, M&A, or emerging companies matters preferred

• Strong drafting, analytical, and transactional skills

• Ability to work directly with clients and manage multiple matters

• Prior business, technical, or financial background is a plus

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Admission to practice law in the relevant jurisdiction
