A nationally respected law firm is seeking an experienced International Trade & Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney to advise companies on customs law, import and export regulations, and sophisticated commercial litigation matters. The International Trade & Commercial Litigation Associate Attorney will work closely with business clients on regulatory compliance, customs issues, and commercial disputes involving supply chain operations and international trade concerns. Key Responsibilities

• Advise companies regarding U.S. import and export regulations, customs valuation, and tariff classification matters

• Litigate supply chain disputes and sophisticated commercial litigation matters

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation-related legal documents

• Develop and execute strategic litigation and regulatory compliance strategies

• Handle matters independently and collaboratively within litigation teams

• Conduct legal research involving customs law and international trade regulations

• Support clients in matters involving U.S. Customs and Border Protection regulations

• Manage complex legal matters while maintaining responsiveness to client needs

• Participate in case strategy discussions, negotiations, and dispute resolution proceedings

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in international trade and customs law

• Admission to practice law in the applicable jurisdiction required

• Experience with U.S. Customs and Border Protection preferred

• Experience before the U.S. Court of International Trade preferred

• Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills

• Strong attention to detail and sound legal judgment

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced legal environment under tight deadlines

• Strong experience drafting pleadings, motions, and litigation strategies

• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
